I cannot believe it's been almost 3 months since my sweet baby boy entered the world.  The first couple of months are a complete blur from sleepless nights and busy days.  Now, I'm finally beginning to balance my business and being a new momma.  I'm figuring it all out as I go, so please be patient with my delayed response to your makeup inquiries.

KerryMakeup 2013 Wedding Season:

I'll be starting bridal makeup trials again in February.  This year, I'll be taking on a limited # of local weddings.  Bookings for weddings will begin in April.  For those inquiries I'm unable to commit to, I'm be happy to share some other NYC makeup artists whom I trust and know will produce beautiful work.

As a makeup artist I get to work with some amazing photographers.  Below are a few beautiful detail shots from my baby Liam's photo shoot with a favorite photographer and friend of mine, LINDSEYBELLE Photography, which was also just featured on this beautiful blog, ON TO BABY.

Hello!  

I want to let everyone know that I'm expecting a wee one any day now, so my response to your makeup inquiries will be delayed.  I will try my best to return your emails soon.  If your makeup needs are for something that is before my return (Feb/Mar 2013) from my maternity break, unfortunately I'm sorry that I'm unable to make that commitment to you.  However, even if our timing won't work, I am more than happy to help by sharing a list of my favorite NYC makeup artists and hair stylists with you.

Sometimes everything aligns perfectly.  You can feel it as it's happening.  This was one of those times for me and I'm just so grateful to have been involved in the experience. 

It's really not about luck, but more about smart creative choices.  It started with the vision of Creative Director & Designer Dara Kent Cobb to feature her stunning Preston & Olivia Collection.  Her thoughtful creative decisions, attention to detail, style, and taste are what made this magic happen.

So here it is - the dazzling P&O Fashion Editorial Video, captured and created by the super-talented Director and Cinematographer, Nick Bowser.  Truly beautiful work Nick - I love it so much!
