Recently I had the pleasure of working with some of the best in the business for the latest Jen Huang Photography Workshop in NYC. This gal's images never fail to make me swoon.

Jen amazes and inspires me. I'm conviced there's nothing she can't do. No, really. Yesterday she announced the release of her NEW Workshop in a Box & BOOK! All the blogs were buzzing about it. Here's some new work from a recent shoot with We Are The Rhoads. Working with them is always such a dream. Sarah & Chris Rhoads ooze kindness, talent, and good taste. Even though I was in the depths of sleep-deprived-new-mama-hibernation at the time, I couldn't let this shoot pass me by. Have a look below and you'll understand why.

Yesterday I had the pleasure of doing makeup for Jen Huang Photography's NYC Workshop. The weather was perfect and so were our bridal models! Below are the looks Stacy Pitt of Styles on B, and I created. Crimped hair, a big bun, and bright sherbert lips were the focus.

Winifred Bean Shoot with Samm Blake

A couple of days ago, I headed to Rye, NY to do makeup (and hair) for wedding dress designer, Angela Curanaj of Winifred Bean. She was being photographed by the crazy-talented photographer, Samm Blake - who was just named one of the Top Ten Wedding Photographers in the WORLD by American Photo! (YAY Samm!) We all happened to be part of The Cream Event NY last August.

The idea of the photo shoot was to capture Angela's life as a mama and designer. The shoot was so much fun and her darling babe was beyond adorable! Below are shots I took with my iphone and a couple Vine videos.

I cannot believe it's been almost 3 months since my sweet baby boy entered the world. The first couple of months are a complete blur from sleepless nights and busy days. Now, I'm finally beginning to balance my business and being a new momma. I'm figuring it all out as I go, so please be patient with my delayed response to your makeup inquiries.

KerryMakeup 2013 Wedding Season:

I'll be starting bridal makeup trials again in February. This year, I'll be taking on a limited # of local weddings. Bookings for weddings will begin in April. For those inquiries I'm unable to commit to, I'm be happy to share some other NYC makeup artists whom I trust and know will produce beautiful work.

As a makeup artist I get to work with some amazing photographers. Below are a few beautiful detail shots from my baby Liam's photo shoot with a favorite photographer and friend of mine, LINDSEYBELLE Photography, which was also just featured on this beautiful blog, ON TO BABY.

Sometimes everything aligns perfectly. You can feel it as it's happening. This was one of those times for me and I'm just so grateful to have been involved in the experience.

It's really not about luck, but more about smart creative choices. It started with the vision of Creative Director & Designer Dara Kent Cobb to feature her stunning Preston & Olivia Collection. Her thoughtful creative decisions, attention to detail, style, and taste are what made this magic happen.

So here it is - the dazzling P&O Fashion Editorial Video, captured and created by the super-talented Director and Cinematographer, Nick Bowser. Truly beautiful work Nick - I love it so much!
